The old CEO only cared about money? Believe me, that's the top priority of the new CEO too. Because he answers to the Board of Directors, who make it their priority to care about money. Because the Board of Directors answers to the shareholders, who care about? You guessed it. Money.

You're right about that. But ryan lacked the corporate swagger to at least pretend he cared about anything other than the bottom line. Nothing could get past his group without a price tag or a catch. Even in the big leagues you gotta give a little, or at least try to.
