Sorry, but no one is supposed to care about money only!! That's why the world is as fckd up as it is... The goal is to make the best effort/product/job possible, NOT to make the maximum amount of profit!! I'm not saying money is irrelevant, I'm saying it does NOT have to be the most you can squeeze out of something...

Best effort/product etc is there primarily to make money... It is all about the money, accept that!! However you need the other items you mentioned to make the most money, they aren't mutually exclusive. The business model changed from y1 to y2 to have a single expansion and create the concept of silver to fill the coffers. Unfortunately the things we had to buy for silver probably didn't bring enough money and they certainly weren't popular enough for players and for that someone carries the can... The key decision maker... That being said, normally a failed product or failing company has a clean up so the new team can say, this wasn't our mess but we are about to set it right, so invest in us... The choice will be yours if you want to go on this journey or not. Expect the product director to be canned soon too, as I assume it was his teams ideas that were endorsed by the previous management team.

Maybe not! Maybe he got kicked because he made a short time plan that would make a lot of money at first, but then it shows its lack of content and quality! That's what I was talking about, it's the zeitgeist to have business models that generate a maximum of profit in a very short time and then leaves a burned soil that maybe even prevents any more progress. And the worst part of it is, that most of these profits land in the pockets of a few that already have it all!! If you think this is the peak of evolution than we are doomed and maybe should be... It's a society system that's more equal to a monarchy than a 'free' democratic system! And the worst thing to do is to say, that's just how it is... I can't change it, but that doesn't mean I have to defend it...

Actually that's the CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
