So I booted up destiny an hopped on into what I thought was gonna be lag spawn kill fest 2016. And other then a few rough matches I've been blown away by how much fun I've been having. Haven't been running a good kd, but I've been just annoying the hell out of the other team with shade step and my iron wreath. And it's been a blast. So color me surprised bungie good job this time
Edit: So happy to hear of everyone having a good time and keeping the salt levels low. Hope you all keep enjoying the banner and loot

I played two games, I did terrible but still ended up winning. I felt bad so I got off. Haha

It's been okay. I kinda like the objective base game mode. My only bitch is I went in at too low light level with crappy guns. Up around 293 now and it's better. Also updated a few guns. Just started playing again the beginning of Jan since before HOW.

I told myself I wouldn't, but I've been playing most of this evening. I'm gonna get to rank 3 then call it quits. Its not a pleasent experience compared to the last one I completed.
-
Enjoying it on my Titan. Even if we're getting railed and a Stormtrance Warlock comes to spawn zap to pad his score he eats a FoH and I T-bag the ashes.
-
I was having a good time. My KDR wasn't, but I started picking up fusion rifles, and they are still suprisingly effective when used right (i.e. 10% of the time I use them)

I'm skipping IB this time around. Rift is too boring for me.
-
Actually yes. I just happen to be leaving a lot of matches. I joined one and it took me straight to the results screen. 20k to 7k
-
I will not dare touch Iron Banner Rift, while I'm playing solo, -blam!- that shit. But, I'm glad to hear that you are having good fortune while playing
-
Apart from spawning in at the end of games and loosing, it's been ok.
-
Depends on the game. I'm not asking for it, but it would be nice if there were a way to avoid full fire teams on the other side. Id gladly wait twice as long for a game if it wasn't just goddambed district 5 against the hawks.
-
Lag is pretty much still there and it's quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had playing this game since the day it came out. Def. not thinking I'll be continuing this sh*t
-
I'm having a great time

Edited by MookyAT: 1/28/2016 11:53:48 PMPretty much the same as every month really. Bungee just needs to implement a leaver deterrent. Like make you want 5 or 10 minutes for leaving a game Side note: I think the iron domination bounty should auto complete if you score a mercy. Only makes sense

I hated the idea at first. It has been a lot of fun so far.
-
I only been playing solo and been having a good time!
-
First day I played solo for awhile and was having a great time, late last night/this morning I was in a group that had people hopping in to keep it going for hours and we just steamrolled. So, I can see where you're definitely taking your chances playing solo, but it can be done.

Edited by G4LL0WGL455: 1/28/2016 11:09:01 PMI am. I actually was the best on my team x 2 while we lost and best overall x 3 on wins. This has never happened before, ever. And I'm not that good. Got to level 3 last night on bounties. Most matches are balanced. I play solo for the gear. Some matches I had my ass handed to me, but it is a game and I do like the Rift mode as a change from Control. So, yeah, I'm enjoying it.

I have played in almost every Iron banner, and up until now I have hated every minute of it. This is the first time that I have enjoyed it. It might also be due to the fact that I'm playing during the week and am not plague by thousands of squeakers
-
I enjoy winning lol. I do not enjoy losing lol
-
Yep, I've enjoyed it solo so far. Won almost all of my matches (and yes, some were against fireteams of 4-6), been great! Some close and some blowouts!
-
When playing solo no, its horrible. But you need to play more cautious when solo because you have no communication
-
Not enjoying this iron banner! Rift is crap!
-
When I get put in a team where everyone understands the objective and tactics of playing rift, then it's great Unfortunately, I've had a LOT of games where I've been teamed up with people who clearly think they're still playing clash, and almost always when that happens we're up against a full fireteam Honestly, I don't see how it's so hard to have matchmaking put a focus on pairing teams against each other and keep the solo players up against other solos for a slightly fairer playing field
