Any other solos out there actually enjoying iron rift
So I booted up destiny an hopped on into what I thought was gonna be lag spawn kill fest 2016. And other then a few rough matches I've been blown away by how much fun I've been having. Haven't been running a good kd, but I've been just annoying the hell out of the other team with shade step and my iron wreath. And it's been a blast. So color me surprised bungie good job this time
Edit: So happy to hear of everyone having a good time and keeping the salt levels low. Hope you all keep enjoying the banner and loot

I was raging like a good'un day one and not enjoying it at all . I wouldn't say I'm enjoying it per say , but I'm tolerating it and steadily making progress , rank 4 and hopefully be rank 5 tonight .

Not my best crucible mode, but I'm enjoying the challenge. My best score so far is 20 kills, 7 carries, 5 ignites, over 15k points. My only gripe is its hard to stay alive to get the 10 kill streak, but ah well I will keep trying

2 RepliesDay one it seemed I was only up against teams. I hadn't played much rift and was dreading it. I even wrote a few disgruntled posts at my unhappiness. However 20 or 30 games in. I understand the mechanics and I have to say I enjoy it. It's different to the style I normally play dust off the conspiracy D (not normally a shotgun guy). The mix of long and hectic close play is fun. I mean I even did the slide shotgun kill. Could count in one hand how many times I have done that. There is also something very satisfying in taking that runner out feet from the rift. I for one like it and apologies to bungie should have had more trust. You changed my crucible experience and for the better.

Yes. I've only lost 2 games and have won 5 as a solo. You guys must suck if you keep losing. It's not that hard

Having a blast! I'm mediocre skill-wise but frequently surprised to see myself achieving the top score. Meaningful rewards have been nonexistent thus far (besides the fun time).

It's going fine for me as a solo. I already have top score overall completed on all three characters. I'm not even a good PVP player. Just smart. I have been on the winning team way more thank losing. Probably 70/30. Don't focus on kills but clear path at the right time.

1 ReplySame boat. I was concerned, but as a solo player I have been having a lot of fun and actually winning a good portion of games. I feel like its not as crazy as normal rift.

1 ReplyI've been running it solo. Believe it or not I've only matched against complete fire teams like twice out of 20 or so matches. The solo guys are good players and can hold their own. The trick is, if you see some one good at running the spark. Clear them a path and let them run the goddam spark. I'll sacrifice myself so the better runner can ignite and help us win. Problems arise when either no one wants to run the spark or if everyone does.
