So I booted up destiny an hopped on into what I thought was gonna be lag spawn kill fest 2016. And other then a few rough matches I've been blown away by how much fun I've been having. Haven't been running a good kd, but I've been just annoying the hell out of the other team with shade step and my iron wreath. And it's been a blast. So color me surprised bungie good job this time
Edit: So happy to hear of everyone having a good time and keeping the salt levels low. Hope you all keep enjoying the banner and loot

I've been having fun. I wish there was a delay (like 5 seconds after it spawns) before the same person can pick up the spark again. It's hard to get that 2500 points when 1-2 guys on the team are hogging the spark.
-
I usually only do PvP for the marks...however, I've played this IB for better gear, and I love it.
-
Yes. Unfortunately I recently ran into a couple of red bar player on the last match. We still won but the two red bar guys were top of their team
-
Loved it.
-
It was very horrible for a lot of matches, but it's mainly because I played my warlock (wanted the chestpiece). And I really think warlocks aren't for me. I hate the lack of mobility apart from blink.
-
On my hunter destroyed, on my warlock got my rear handed back to me. It has been much better on my defender XD
-
Yeah it's fun. If you treat it like a video game and don't get all salty about it, it can be a very enjoyable experience.
-
Yes. I almost think the randoms focus more on the game and can pull a win whereas teams that might focus on strategy, sometimes fail. I think it's like playing mortal combat with your little brother, you know the combos yet still lose to a button smasher.
-
Yes its very quick in upgrading because the games seem to go by quicker.
-
When damage registers from shots landed on opponents, it is great. Otherwise, it is not. This assumes green bars.
-
It's really not that bad; people, like always on this forum, over exaggerate everything and turn into bitches whenever something doesn't go their way
-
Just had one the most exciting games started off average then we were down and they kept getting our rift, near the end turned it around thanks to 3 quick rifts so proud haha my heart was like cmon do not mess this up dunk it!
-
Right here! Thought I was going to hate it as a mostly solo player but I'm having a lot of fun. Seems to be many different rolls I can play/help with. Rank 5 on hunter and warlock.
-
I'm not gonna say that it's the best iron banner to solo but I'm grindin it out
-
I am.
-
Went on a 9 game win streak to finish up my fwc hunter class item quest. Just take the spark at all cost.
-
I am. Got two characters to level 5, so far.

Edited by Faergoose: 1/31/2016 8:47:18 PMI'm an average to mediocre PVP'r at best, but been having fun. Sure there's been some lopsided blowouts, but they're over quickly and on to the next one.
-
So-so but I have crap luck and get matched with the idiots that don't understand that you grab the glow my ball
-
Yeah it's 100% better than clash in my opinion.
-
I'm actually really surprised as well. J have really been enjoying it. Ive been running about half and half with solo and with a team. Been winning a lot solo and just been having a lot more fun then I expected.
-
Edited by jbennett0928: 1/31/2016 8:23:48 PMSo far all the solo games I've joined we have won.
-
I've been getting my butt handed to me. I lost my first 14 games. I've only pulled out 2 wins so far. However, the 2 games I won were extremely fun.

At first i absolutely hated it until i realized that everyone has a role they should play in rift, and my best role is home defense. Once i realized that, my games turned much better and my teams even started winning. the only downside is the golden bounty requiring "best overall" is near impossible for me -_-

Too be honest at first no. Then I remember why I loved playing... Because it's a challenge. First time really playing PvP in depth was last IB after that I began playing other types on crucible but never rift haha go figure. Anyways it's rewarding knowing you can adapt to the game. I enjoyed the team work aspect. I'm learning a lot by getting killed. Won't give any secrets away but I'm picking it up. Its gonna be sweet getting that scout.
