Last time I checked CEO's didn't create games. This won't change anything.

You're right but they do have a big part in almost every aspect of the product. CEOs can decide on things like microtransaction, DLC, time/money allotted to development, development team leadership, company culture etc. If you don't think CEOs have that much think about where Apple would be without Steve jobs or Amazon with Jeff bezos.

CEO's still play a big part in a company, so yes it will change. Alot of things actually

Edited by singularity: 1/28/2016 3:52:20 AMIf people want things to change, then they should be hoping that the lead dev for Destiny leaves or gets fired. Unless the CEO is passionate about the game (haha) then nothing will change.

Parsons was the executive producer for Halo 2 and Halo 3. He even has his own game studio. I think that, if there are CEOs passionate about the games their company makes, Parsons would fit in with his track record.

The CEO is likely the person who would make the call to fire the lead developer, FYI. Ultimately, this news may be massive, or it may amount to almost nothing. Really depends on Parsons' management style and how much change he wants to make.
