I didn't say they don't deserve a roof over their head or food in their stomachs. Higher education isn't a basic human right..
And don't try to lay it on me somehow that I'm the bad guy. These people are the ones who made their children. Life isn't fair.

Indeed it isn't and you are a bad person for not wishing to help those people. It isn't the child's fault. But you want a safer, nicer society, with less crime we have to help people.
