You make a lot of arguments about how unfair things are for poor people, and yes as a struggling college student I understand this. But, the thing is, LIFE isn't fair. If you want something bad enough you earn it

I don't think everything needs to be fair but too many people think that if you just work hard enough you will make it. Real life doesn't work that way, and to imply that people at the bottom don't want it enough to put in the work is just false. They work plenty hard and have just as much drive to do better, but there are a limited number of good paying jobs and when you have to feed your family you can't always be picky. You may succeed but that doesn't mean that everyone that goes to college will. Working hard doesn't guarantee success, just talk to a business owner who put everything they had into it but still couldn't compete with Walmart (and ended up bankrupt). People fail a lot, it just doesn't grab headlines because people want to hear the success stories.
