Typical American. Still believing your capitalist ideals are "justifiable" or "sustaining".
Some socialism and capitalism is great when practiced in equal measure. The rich MUST be kept in check to prevent corruption, and the poor has to be given an opportunity for a better life. That is the concept you spoiled brats never seem to grasp.
• Russia is a socialist nation sitting on stockpiles of oil reserves. The reason Russia lost the cold war was they ran out of money I don't see the results being the same next time though. Had we stayed with the gold standard and had we stayed with capitalism we would be the strongest still however with our leadership injecting bits of Socialism we are becoming that overripe fruit Russia spoke of ready to fall into your hand.

  • Oil per barrel price is 31.45 today, Russia BROKE! *drops the mic walks out* j/k on the mic part anyway the current energy environment is crippling the Russian state being that nearly 60% of the budget comes from energy revenues The larger portion of their national budget has shrunk by about $85 over the last 2 years. Lets do some math: $32(current price)/$115(price 2 years ago)=28%(current income vs previous income) 28%/60%(how much of their budget is effected)=17%(what remains) 17%+40(the rest of the budget unaffected)=57%(The current budget of Russia vs 2 years ago) In other words broke, almost half of their budget grew wings and flew away. But no worries many other dictatorships around the world are also feeling the oil burn (pun intended).

Well China and their economy heavily relies on the US, just as we kind of rely on them. Its not all about military might

  • Actually our fiat money debt is owed to the federal reserve, we spend more which means we need to borrow more fiat money from the federal reserve, and since the only way to pay it back is with itself plus interest, tell me how that is supposed to work when the American dollars value isn't based on anything? Lol, classic

  • China owns only about 1.27 trillion dollars of our debt. The rest is in social security trust funds and federal Reserve bonds. China is the biggest foreign holder of our debt, nothing more. Quit fear mongering. Nextly, you're "war" simulations amount to nothing. The us military has more weapns, more advancements, more soldiers, better equipment, more money, and technology than any other country. Russia may won if they simply nuke the us, but by God they're getting some right back. So, put your youtube videos and fear away, and understand no one is toppling us anytime soon. Btw, wipe the shit off your face when you pull your head out your ass .

  • Not true, our debt is owed to the federal reserve, fiat money is broken and fails 100% of the time, look up how many dollars the US gov't has to pay the federal reserve back when they borrow only $1 dollar from the federal reserve.

  • I don't have the numbers, but we owe every dollar we "own" back to the federal reserve with interest

  • Technically we don't own the federal reserve, it's a private institution that the US government gets money from as a loan. It's the central bank scam, they control the money so they own us, hence why we owe $18trillion

  • And you're the problem. Your arrogance for your country is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. No we do not have the best military. We are not nearly the most intelligent any more. What are you trying to argue? You are beyond wrong, yet to arrogant to admit it.

  • Our military has about 10 times more funds than all contenders. We also try to keep a 10-20 year lead on competitors too. What we have as an advantage over most other countries is innovation. China may have the fastest super computer and more troops, but I guarantee ya the USA will win in any naval war(railguns are just one material science step away from being the sniper rifles to their shot gun boats), any aerial war(Russians newest jets where laughed at by mechanical/aerospace engineers because of how large and floppy they were), and I won't argue ground war because they got an advantage on their turf. Of course, none of this guarantees a win, but it is no exaggeration to say we hold a significant advantage. What other country can you say has Jets as advanced as ours, or will have rail gun mounted ships?

  • I will admit when I'm wrong and we are not "the most intelligent." But, we stand atop the mountain alone. Who else has an economy as strong as ours? Who has better tech than us? Look, clearly we need to agree to disagree because your ability to just have a civilized conversation with differing opinions died with your first argument where yoy showed arrogance, not me. I gave you some numbers and if you want articles I'll get them, not youtube. A legitimate source. Until you can do that or keep your own arrogance in check we have nothing to talk about. You think the US isn't as string as the world says and I do. We're done here. Now, let's be pals.

  • But why would the poor take that opportunity if they can just sit back and take advantage of government assistance? They have proven it time and time again that a large majority of them have no interest in bettering themselves.

  • I had never said anything about government assistance. I personally do not believe in handouts. However, I do believe all who are willing to work hard, should not be held back because of their social status, be it because of their lack wealth or contacts. They should be given a chance to succeed in life. What should be offered isn't a lifeline, but a opportunity. For the rich, governance isn't a business. If the rich get too powerful, to the extent that they are untouchable even by law, would be terrible for society as it would breed corruption within the government. Just look at China, where corruption scandals are regularly uncovered, or America, where celebs get minimal sentences for crimes.
