We bring up Y1 because people like yourself keep wanting to claim Mida is OP when it isn't. Mida is nothing compared to the true OP weapons. If Thorn was ever brought to Y2, you'd know what OP is. Midas base stats are average. Only its reload speed is better than anything. Aim assist may be highest of everything but that make just anyone an automatic headshot machine. It's only the top of the meta right now because it's so popular. That's it. It's an easy to use, competitive choice. If that's the ONE thing that might be a drawback.
