A better way to explain it would be that Bernie Sanders recognizes the imbalance in the system and devises a way to fix it.
In video game terms it would be more like slanting odds of better rewards in certain circumstances to those who have yet to be lucky enough to roll an exotic. In effect bungie has already played the bernie role with the three of coins.
The problem with our system of gov't is the undue influence of monied individuals and huge corporations. Look at who pays for the candidates campaigns. Including Rand Paul.
Bernie Sanders has proven that he is not beholden to corporate interests. He is the only one who will actually change anything.

The only reason that money is in gov't, is because gov't is involved monetarily in the industries that lobby gov't. For example when the gov't subsidizes solar companies (for a huge financial loss btw) and taxes and regulates oil companies, oil companies respond by lobbying politicians to lift regulations and stop subsidies to solar companies. Solar companies in turn lobby politicians to continue subsidies and regulate oil companies. Each industry seeks a competitive advantage over the other, when the advantage is artificially brought on by gov't that's when lobbying occurs. Basically, it's a two way street, the gov't can't put its money and influence into industry without industry putting its money and influence in gov't.

Riiiight, I think you may have a misunderstanding of how that actually works...check out the citizens united case...also look up the word oligarchy, these are important in understanding this system we have allowed ourselves to be subjugated to.

Uhhhh I understand it perfectly, you Sanders supporters throw out Citizens United left and right. The supreme court's decision in that case is consistent with what the legal definition of a corporation is. A corporation is put into existence for the sole purpose of relieving the fiscal burdens/liabilities of shareholders (individuals), it relieves the fiscal burdens and liabilities of shareholders by assuming the burdens and liabilities that an individual would typically be subjected to. In business and tax law terms, a corporation assumes all the risks an individual would, that's how it protects shareholders. That way you can only sue the corporation and NOT the shareholders, in short a corporation assumes all the risks of an individual, Citizens United allows corporations to also enjoy some benefits of being an "individual" Throwing out the suggestion of Oligarchy is a pathetic reach on your part

Presidents don't change anything, congress does

The only candidate who can't be paid off is Trump. No ifs ands or buts. Sorry, but it's true.
