Trails Of Osiris
I would like to see bungie introduce skilled based trails. So silver players vs silver, and platinum vs platinum. Now i know you can have 2 silvers and a platinum but match it with the highest player. Its just not fair going 5-7 and 0 and getting smashed by teams of platinum and diamond players running around making youtube videos of stopping ppl going to the light house. Disgusting i say. It takes the fun out of the game. please bungie see this and consider it.

Trials is arguably the only gamemode that should have skill based matchmaking but even then I prefer more reliable connection over my opponent's skill level.

2 RepliesYou just need to practice. I sucked at the beginning of trials. I was always a pretty good crucible player. After a while, it clicked, I watched a lot of streamers and asked for advice. Play elimination and try to get better. Trials doesn't really account skill, it accounts wins, and better teams will naturally get to higher wins, just accept and get better. That's what I did and have now gone over 25+ times flawless.

3 RepliesIt's a grind!!! Like everything in destiny. Eventually you will find 6 beatable teams. Me and a couple of weaker player beat rambo000s team. This weekend and he is ranked 88#. Of course he sent me hate but this proves that everyone is beatable.

So a platinum player who can't beat other platinum players can't get to the lighthouse but a silver player who does can despite not being as good as the platinum player? Or did I misunderstand? On a merit/win based system I think bungie have it pretty fair right now.

4 RepliesI haven't been to lighthouse because I get all the sweeties. All this "skill based matchmaking" is putting me up against gods of the crucible. I'm just your joe avg sniper who tries really hard in PVP only to get smashed by these diamond teams. This would be a great idea for players such as myself.
