I want to eat pizza but I am poor. Lovely day for a stroll. Idk where I'm going with this.
Omali, Drokantoro, XxHolyHaloxX, and GHOST9o5's characters are in this chapter
Chapter 58: Two Days
"Now swing!"
The grunt of the command Omali ordered was met with hardly any results.
"Bolt, you have to put more strength into it! Stop swinging like a Hunter!"
"Excuse me?" Omali looked over to see that Ghost was there, languidly leaning against a tree. The Titan regarded the Hunter for a few seconds before returning to the task at hand.
Ignore and teach. I can deal with you later.
"Okay. Look at me." He instructed once more. Standing across from him was Bolt who rather looked worn down but Omali didn't care. This built character did it not? At least it built character for Titans. Fight and die. Fight and die. Learning came alone the way.
When he saw four eyes looking at him, he grunted appreciatively. Then he pointed to his hand which slowly cocked itself back, his mechanical gears whirring the farther it went.
"Now. Try to imagine your power flowing to your fist." As he said this, bolts of Arc energy raced across his knuckles. "And then you strike!" Throwing his fist forward, he watched as the Arc flow followed like lightning. It was beautiful to his eyes no matter how much he had seen it. Eager to see the same with Bolt, he waited with baited breath.
Bolt copied him but to Omali it was a weak attempt of an attack.
"Omali give up. He's obviously not going to get it." Wanting severely to give up, but being stubborn not to, Omali grunted and faced Fervor who was laying in the grass. The Titan was eagle spread, his chest facing the sky as he fiddled with small flowers he had placed on his chest.
"Says the Exo who can't make a flower crown." At the comment, Fervor rose, facing Ghost who had his helmet off and had a smirk on his face. The male Hunter raised his hands in mock surrender, that smile still there.
Damage control here. Once again.
"Easy, Fervor." Omali said, gaining the other Exo's attention. "Ghost just likes to rile people up. He's a Hunter, it's as natural as picking on a Warlock and their fashion sense."
"I don't pick on Warlocks." Ghost quipped, faking a hurt look on his face. "Those Warlocks just don't get the necessity of a cloak. It's better than those bath robes." With a wave of his hand, Ghost sauntered into the Vala's home of a cave.
"Hey!! Don't go in my home like that!!" Bolt shouted, leaving Omali to sprint to where Ghost had gone. But before the Fallen could make it there, the intruding Hunter ran out of the cave.
"And stay out!!" Omali stared incredulously as a small Ghost appeared between the vines of the cave mouth. The small machine then shook itself slightly, disappearing back into the cave.
His thoughts were interrupted when Fervor burst out laughing at what had just happened. A small part of Omali wanted to laugh too but a better part of his mind decided against that.
"Are you okay?" Ghost's only response was a rude hand gesture to him but Omali ignored it. "What happened?" He would persist until he got his answer.
For a few minutes there was silence, the male Hunter trying to calm himself down. Omali silently noted that Bolt was gone as well, the Vandal slipping into his home. Whether to get away from him or the so called training he was teaching Bolt he didn't know.
"There was a Ghost in there." Omali waited patiently, nodding to show he was listening. "Started dropping things on me when I took one step. I only ran out when knives were replacing guns."
There was a few seconds of silence after that.
"So," Omali began, "You went inside Vala's home only to chased out by here Ghost." It wasn't a question but more of a statement. Anger flashed across Ghost's face before the Hunter stormed off to who knows where.
There's a first for everything I guess.
"Hey Zavala needs us soon. Gotta get ready for...you know what." Fervor said with unease, catching his attention. The bulky Titan had gotten up, brushing away the flowers and picking some out of the niches on his metal body.
Silently putting on his helmet, Fervor nodded to him as a goodbye and held his palm out. The Titans Ghost appeared a second later and both machines disappeared.
Omali basked in the few short minutes of silence after that. It helped clear his mind a little instead of all the slew of questions he had always wanted to ask a person.
"Bolt!!" He suddenly shouted, "Get back out here we aren't finished!"
"I'm tired!!" Was the petulant response from within the cave.
"Bullcrap! Get back out here!"
"No!! Leave me be!"
"This builds character!!! And you sorely need one!"
"And you sorely need to leave me be! You-hey!! Stop hitting me!"
"Out of the cave and go train." Omali figured it was the Vala's Ghost who had said that. Bolt whined loudly but was promptly put out when it threatened to tell his mother.
Just give me a few more days. Omali thought with a silent eye on the cave. A few more days before I have to switch sides. Before I'm ordered to kill. I need to give you a chance to fight back like us.
Omali clenched his fists, crouching low when Bolt came back begrudgingly to stand in front of him.
I need a reason to believe why the lot of us believe in you, Bolt.
"Now watch me."
