Hey guys. Wanted to try D3 but don't know what's happening. Can you explain this to me and maybe give tips?

Hardcore mode is the only way to play. For those who aren't in the know, hardcore mode gives you one life and only one life. You die and that's it--you're done. You have to start all over again from scratch. You lose all the gear you had on you at the time. It may seem harsh but it really adds a level of intensity to each encounter with enemies. The game can get kinda boring in softcore mode so that's why I tell everyone who asks about the game to try hardcore. I assure you if you play hardcore you'll never play softcore again.

People are saying not to play it on console, but I like it just fine. Try it. It's fun.

Diablo 3 is one of the best time wasting games you can buy, you will spend possibly 5-7 hour levelling through the story to find once you hit 70 all you do is rift after rift, greater rift after greater rift in hope you get that one piece of gear which is better the next time. After hitting 70+ greater rift with a paragon of 1200+ you sit there and think, "when will the next patch hit". Buy it but in PC only, you play on console you will cheat your way there.

Edited by WARDified: 1/26/2016 2:25:31 AMHey Xur, maybe you should figure out "what is good weapon for tower sale?" then we can have this discussion.
-
Have you played 1 or 2?
-
I have a paragon 314 crusader Play. This. Game.
-
If u ever play it, make sure is on pc. Consoles suck when it comes to D3.
-
They sometimes sell a good weapon!
-
Oh it's the game where you find epic loot above 280 that is best for guardians at a low price.
-
Its a kind of tree that grows on amazon rain forests only
-
Honestly it's a pretty fun game, on pc. In console it may look decent and play decent, but it's missing the entire endgame element of seasons. Once you hit 70 you'll do some grreater rifts, maybe some paragon then put the game down till the next patch. It's only truly rewarding on pc.

Diablo 3 is a really fun but can be an addictive game. I played it for a while and couldn't put it down so I sold it to make myself stop playing.
-
I played a tiny bit up the end game and didn't find it that entertaining, if you think destiny is repetitive and unrewarding good luck with Diablo 3
-
A fun game. I took a break from Destiny to play it. It gets repetitive, but it's a fun kind of repetitive.
-
It's pretty good, but it never seemed to hook me like d2 did. Also you can't switch characters between platforms. I'd probably buy it on ps4 if I could use my pc guy.
-
A great game that even though I have all classes decked out in top tier sets with 7k paragon level I'm still thinking of playing again with the most recent update
-
it's like destiny, but with better loot that actually feels amazing.

Edited by Swiftlock: 1/26/2016 1:28:07 AMJump in blind and fresh. Figure things out for yourself. That's where I have the most fun rather than having other people suggest what to do. It's not like you can screw anything huge up in the early stages of D3 anyway.
-
If your going to get it you might as well get the expansion as it adds a lot more Content to the game and it allows you to have access to loot that's not out in the non seasonal characters for a season
-
It's really addicting A LOT of loot. It's very repetitive but in a great way. I rather not spoil it for u. Hopefully you're getting it on ps4 or pc so u get the full version.

Edited by xJag007x: 1/26/2016 2:01:46 AMThe only other game I play besides destiny. I got it for $24 a few weeks ago and I never played any of the prior Diablo games... But I'm glad I got this one because it's a good game and it's fun and, no offense, but whenever I get bored with destiny I go play it. Its worth the money if its still $20-$25.

You are like the most famous person ever!!! It's my honor to post back to u great sir!
-
Bought it for ps4 new with reaper of souls edition $20 from gamestop. Well worth it.
-
It's a good game but I actually prefer its predecessors.
-
It's a fun game. Destroyed it on 360
-
It's a game that rode the coat tails of Diablo 1 and 2 to gain a massive amount of sales. But if you like gauntlet legends you'll like d3. That's more of what it plays like.
