I'm trying to install Destiny on a new hard drive and all seems to be going well until my "Transferring Game Content" circle hits 14%. There's no issue downloading the update and the accessibility packs (I think that's what they're called) download easily as well. The "Game Content" bar loads quickly and consistently until it his 14% at which point it stops dead and seems to be inactive. I've let it sit for about 15 minutes now with no change, so I believe something is wrong. Is this a known issue? I've now had this exact same issue with two separate hard drives. What gives?

Which platform are you on, and are you using a physical disc for the base game? 'Transferring game content' is usually copying files from the game disc to the console's hard drive. There could be an issue with the disc (try cleaning it) if it's stopping at the same spot each time. Try clearing your system cache ( https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539 ), but if it keeps hanging at 14%, is there anybody you could borrow a disc from to see if the install will get any farther?

aaaand just like that, having changed absolutely nothing about what I was doing, the issue has resolved itself. Ah well, better than the alternative I guess.

I've now received a notification that says expansion content is 'missing or damaged' if that is helpful to know.
