Just had this article come across my phone, and take it with a grain of salt, but it seems the fine folks over at Bungie have a plan to sell heavy ammo synths for real money/silver. Now, this is a slippery slope that Bungie is walking. This is as close as they have gotten to actually impacting the game and getting closer to a pay to win format. That may just be one man's opinion, but I don't see this going well for them if they continue down this path.
Hit the link above for the article and sound off below with any and all comments. Again, this is completely a rumor, but these guys have been right before.

It's false. It shows that the relationship between Bungie and the community is damaged otherwise that rumor would have been laughed off and never published.
-
activision and bungie said that they were not doing this don't trust everything you see on the internet
-
Dude you are really dumb if you believe this is true. It Reddit. You know the place where we can post whatever we want.
-
Muted for posting every piece of shit you see on the web
-
Not true
-
Another article that was released has a statement from an Activision rep stating that it was not true and there was no plan to do that. You're talking about a rumor that came from a random source as if it were fact, and then saying that it's a rumor. Why not just put this one to rest and focus your energies on one of the other more recent "dramas" that have come to light this week?

Let's say you are right... does being able to buy Heavy Synth give you an advantage over anyone else? When you can get it in a number of different in-game ways also? I have like 250 ether seeds, glimmer isn't really short, tons of strange coins, and more ways. Do I care if someone pays real money for Heavy Synth? Nope. Would I laugh at someone who did? Yes, most likely.
-
It was proven false by Gameinformer.
-
I mean. Buy Heavy Ammo Synth. Turn it in to Factions for Rep. Get Faction Packages, farm weapons that way.....
-
If this turns out to be real.
Bungie is dumb as -blam!-.
No one will buy it.

The article says a source familiar with the matter confirmed this, does not say someone at Bungie. Everyone always likes to assume right away.
