Fun Activities (PvE)

I've run into a problem Once my daily bounties and weekly strike bonus are done, I have no interest in doing anything I have to ask, at what point did earning the (paltry) rewards outweigh the enjoyment of playing the game? And wonder how many others are feeling the same So, can I hear some thoughts? Name some (PvE) activities that are enjoyable in their own right, that you would do even without an expected reward. Inspire me Think positive And let's hope Bungie is listening too

  • I bum it around the tower or patrol and try to find someone to help out. It's always fun to help a newb.

When I'm bored I like to run PoE 32/4/5 solo. Also CE solo. I attempted VoG alone, but can't even get past the conflux checkpoint. They're fun and can still present a challenge if you're unfamiliar with the mechanics.

  • Find a group of 290s raid virgins and help them do the raid or other activities, share your knowledge and experience, it is quite fun!

  • Consider this. Next time you go into any activity, you cannot die. I treat the first person view as a true simulator. It forces me to be cautious. To utilize cover as I creep through a hallway or corridor. Big open spaces are suspect. I watch all my corners. I concern myself with extreme situational and environmental awareness. It's more SOCOM then RAMBO. You'll find critical shots become crucial to survival. Properly used grenades and supers mean the difference between life and that death. It's role playing for me and it has improved my gaming considerably. Once you get into it nightfalls become a challenge worthy of completion and completion becomes the reward (cause ghost shells suck). You may even get lucky and find others with the same mindset. Then tactics, strategy, and communication take on a whole new level. Just don't become psychotic and forget it's a game... Only a game... Hmmmmm

    • Most PvE players have the same issues. Its because the developers dont know how to build a game with rpg mechanics. Theyre excellent at 1st person shooters but zero experience with replay value in a pve setting. I play Warframe, borderlands 2 multiplayer and planetside 2 now. Tried the raid again last night but had to leave on Golgoroth due to pure boredom. Hitting 320 is pointless because ive completed hard mode at 310....zero incentive. Some people see being 320 as a point to play but ive played too many better rpg games to settle on grinding just to make 3 useless numbers a point to go through the boredom.
