So guys, I have an iPhone 6 that has one slight crack and the screen is slightly popped out.
I am getting the (error 53) when I try to restore it.
error 53 on Apple's website says this error occurs when the screen is damaged and /or the Touch ID button loses connection with the phone like when you drop it and it loosens something inside the phone.
Apple says if it can't be fixed by just replacing the screen, that you may need to send the IPhone into 'Apple Repair Center ' and it will take 3-5 business days.
Do any of you know what this means?
Send to Apple repair center..
Will they just completely replace my iPhone 6 with a new one and charge me 150 or will they actually fix the phone.
Please reply or message me if you have any info on this.
I will be selling this phone once I fix it

Who want to buy this iPhone? Hit me up we can run it through eBay, so it will be a legit transaction
-
Throw it out the window, get an android. All your problems solved in two seconds!
-
Why don't you just take your phone to Best Buy?

guys honestly, I didn't want this thread to turn into a debate, but.. IPHONE IS WHERE ALL THE HOE's ARE AT! iPhone is stylish and powerful yet simple. Girls prefer iMessage over basic text message any day. Emojis can get the girl wetter if you use em right.. And not those fake Samsung bootleg emojis SAMSUNG still has nice phones I can't lie tho.. iPhone is just better.

It's not worth the hassle to fix and then sell it
-
Sell it on eBay for more than it's worth and get a 6s I took mine swimming and it was fine after fûck android
-
It means you return your iPhone and get a Samsung.
-
If they have restored 6's, they will probably swap it. Otherwise, they will repair it.

Edited by superkid3602: 1/24/2016 10:56:39 PMI don't know. But Apple paired up with this place where you can send in your iPhone for money. I got $200 for my iPhone 5s. They will take it even if it's damaged. You obviously won't get as much though. I thought I'd tell you because you said you were going to sell it anyways. Hope this helps. Oh btw the money is in Apple gift cards.

Microwave it
-
Did you eat it?
-
Throw it out a window.
