Well I've been asked by several people to make a post about this and after receiving so many likes I thought it would be helpfull for people by making a topic about it. 10 easy tips to get the PVP part of the quest done. #1 Always hipfire TLW, ADS sucks with this weapon and it's range is horrible now. By getting precision hits while hipfiring you will do increased damage for a fast kill. #2 Never dive right in. No blue dots on your schreen? GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE! #3 Try getting easy kills by following your teammates and being their wingmen. This will decrease the chance of receiving damage and will also grant the chance of a free and easy kill. #4 Headshots give 2%, matches won can maybe add 3% (I'm not sure) and multikills can add multiple points from 3 or 5 up to 20% (10 kills in one life). #5 You can use every single tactic in killing your opponents to receive points, as long as you wear a TLW. #6 CQB maps are your best friend while long range maps are horrible when using a TLW, except if you're really good at sniping. #7 Use the benefit of people not using the second tip as it's really easy to get a kill when you're on top of an elevated area and someone jumps up which will give the oppurtunity for an easy shotgun kill. #8 Heavy ammo incoming!? Get that heavy and stay in the back. If you have a good heavy you'll reap the rewards when everyone has gone trough their heavy weapon ammo. I've gotten that killing spree of 10 kills by using my machinegun in controll matches. #9 Control is your best bet. Because of the objectives you'll have a better chance at scoring kills. The concentration of players is so different in control that you can easily pick of stragglers who only focus on killing rather than capturing points (you're also one of them) and by using your super on teams that are capturing anpoint to get a nice multikill. Do get those CP's since a win will also add points to your quest. #10 Always stay calm. A few days ago I could not go past 20% and I hated it, untill strangely enough I got to 33% in a single game after being tired from work. That night I was so calm and by using the tips above I got to 100% in just 1 and a half hours with a k/d up to 5. You could alternatively wait for the heavy drop and your super to charge before equiping your TLW, so you won't lose points during firefights before these sources for a lot of points are available. As for the PVE part. #1. Get a good void damage weapon as the psions will post a big threat with their void shields and their energy wave attack, also during the boss fight these enemies will become a really big problem if not dealt with. #2. Reinforcements during the boss fight can before quite the problem, so wipe them out so you can solely focus on fighting the cabal bosses, if you don't do this during the boss fight or you take to long after the boss already fled, more enemies will appear when the new boss round starts again making it even harder. #3. As for the shotgun part, I've heard people saying that the last hit doesn't have to be dealt with a shotgun as long as you wear a shotgun, but I'm not sure. As long as you kill one of these bosses the requirement for the quest will be checked off. So even if you killed the blue cabal and your whole fireteam died, you'll only have to kill the red one when starting a new bossround in order to get the quest done. #4. If you're still having trouble keeping your fireteam alive it's always nice to have a sunsinger for self revive, but what I've found even better is a titan who knows how to skate. When my fireteam members were down there was no way I vould safely revive them, so by avoiding all enemy fire I gave them time to revive themselves after the timer was over. Hopefully this will help those that want the quest done.
