Halo CE Magnum vs Thorn in its prime
Which weapon do you thing is superior.

Anyone who votes thorn hasn't played CE, the magnum had no damage drop off, near pinpoint accuracy, 3 shot kills minimum, and was semi automatic.

Does the the Thorn fire laser-guided squid-tipped nuclear napalm warheads? If so, CE magnum still wins.

CE magnum is faster TTK. Though the DoT is a nice addition. A tough decision, but I'll hAve to go with the CE magnum.

Can Thorn kill a Hunter (the Halo ones, not the plebeians in Destiny) in one well-placed shot? No? Didn't think so.

1 ReplyI know the CE pistol is from an earlier time so that's why it looks like that but even though I rarely play destiny these days the thorn had such a dark design. That and acid spiting pistol that only takes 2 shots to bring down other players VS it was either 3 or 4 to break a sheild but a single smack to an unshielded head is actually such a situational debate.
