Edit 9: 600 and we've been visited by Nike! Spent a few matches in Rift today just to get a feel for it. Everyone in the lobby had more than 20 kills and it was a slobber-knocker. THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!

I will not play rift. Not only because it is one of the worst game modes in gaming history. But mostly because of the 10 sec respawn timer. In a game where everyone is focused on one square feet on the map. So you'll be spending more time dead than alive. And yes you can go camping sniping etcetera. But if to many people do than in any game mode its no fun what so ever

Funny thing is, the whole reason Deej said they are doing Rift is to count the player participation numbers and see how it compares to other IB playlists. And in those numbers, all the sad, addicted people you mentioned above all count as "active, satisfied customers". By playing Rift, you are encouraging Rift as a future playlist. Just say no!

Funny you're getting this many replies. DeeJ himself addressed us in one of No Rift for IB polls on this forum. He said no need to poll, you're getting rift anyway because that's what their devs wants to do, shake it up. He told us solos to go on LFG, supposedly like he does, and play IB with a team. Not sure HOW they could have not anticipated the angst toward rift, but it must have hit a Bungie nerve!!!

They know we may hate it, but we are still going to log hours of play time. We will play regardless of whether there is true new content or not. That's why they don't care to release any new content....because they know we will play and spend money

1 ReplyNaw....I'll be playing Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Star Wars Battlefront instead. Rift is boring af. I'll be putting Destiny on hiatus until Bungie gets their $#!t together. Final Fantasy XV is another title that will be taking my gametime later this year.
