Heh, I'm hardly a vocal proponent of how things have been handled by Bungie as my posting history will illustrate. My comment only addresses the fact that people are making a bunch of assumptions based on no information. And that means their opinions are borderline useless.
Misplaced ad hominem attacks only further reduce the value of your reply.

People are making assumptions based on their experience in the last 3 weeks playing that shit poor crucible and now we know why, the new system favours skill based matchmaking over location and in a peer2peer system, it's a bad idea.

Not everybody has to experience the lag for the system to be a bad one. It's just too much of a coincidence a huge number of players are experiencing terrible lag since the implementation of this stupid system.
