Short version : - New PVP mode for free, sounds good because we didn't have anything new in PVP for a while. - New IB with a mod needing good strategy sounds pretty cool ! Long version : The new event or free DLC or whatever you call it is pretty cool for me ^^ First of all, I love PVP (A big fan of trials). And we haven't got any new modes/maps in PVP for a while. You don't like PVP ? Usually if you don't like PVP it's because you're not good at it. And usually if you're not good at it, it's just because you didn't try long enough. You usually did a few matches, and got recked by try hards (or even normal pvp players), that's not fun at all. (Notice that I use 3 times "usually" so you don't need to tell me your story about you're the best PVP player and love it a lot but because of cheaters, the bad servers blablabla). BUT if you play on a regular basis, and understand what is a good or bad weapon, you will notice some improvement of your skill pretty quickly. And you kill more than you get killed and that makes PVP way more interesting ^^ Give it a shot ! Then about IB, with randoms IB is not fun.. People not taking the zones, people just doing their bounties, no strategies... Well pretty much a nightmare if your team suck. if you play with randoms against a team. you're usually dead. And now with the rift, things are not gonna be different. But as a player who loves PVP, the Rift is really not my favorite mode... Why ? Because I mostly played with randoms. And the rift needs some good team strategy. Now with a team I'm sure it's gonna be fun ! My friends were not really interested in playing with that mode but now if they are "forced" in a way (because nobody forces you to play at IB :p) it's going to be easy to join a full team ^^ So yeah I'm pretty excited about it !
