Lol you really have no clue mate. I work with large datacentres for banks (and games in the past), you may be able to buy a crappy server liek that for $45, but its a piece of crap, that server would be lucky to run a small office! For large systems such as destiny they will require numerous servers, far more powerful than that one. The other thing you fail to consider is the infrastructure surrounding the datacentres. The networking and power has to be up to scratch or there is no point in having a thousand of the fastest servers ever if not everyone can talk to it. Until you know a bit more about what it takes to run a system like Destiny I suggest you pipe down buddy.

Funny, we paid for our own gaming server space back in the days of dial-up, server space is a lot cheaper now than in the 90's. Hell we even had our own made of our old pc's to run private games and lan parties. Difference is that gamers are much less intelligent now, and willing to throw money at companies to be abused. It's sad.
