I can understand the compulsion to search, if only because my step-dad was the same way. He's a Vietnam veteran, and a pastor all in one, and after our church (a church my dad built himself) was burned down by some rather distasteful people, he's been a lot more wary of everything around the neighborhood. Also fire prevention. That's been a big one in his house for a while now, as you can imagine. It's interesting you mention the helicopters, too, because I live in an apartment complex where choppers have passed over a few times. I only assume they were searching, but there were no cruisers to accompany them, so I can't be sure. Hopefully I'll be outta here by the end of the year, anyway. Stay safe!
