Unless they announce that will be delayed I can't believe they have much resource allocated to new D1 content (DotD was probably finished off 6 months ago at the same time they finished FotL) unless there is an emergency, like crucible nearly imploding last month. Releasing half arsed content now would actually harm D2 as people will be jaded when it is released. If I was bungie it would go like this: - announce full details of DotD including the 8 armour pieces and 1 primary exotic, whether in loot table or quest - confirm no new content for D1 after that, only maintenance - confirm plan and expected release for D2 and confirm alpha / beta phases - thank everyone for enjoying destiny 1 - confirm weekly updates are now monthly and will split message between D1 and D2 I'd be delighted to be proved wrong, of course.
