Bait post.
You can't really get a 315 light without hard mode. People also used to do it at 310ish.

I got to 315 without even stepping foot in HM thanks to SRL and Iron Banner

Between Trials, Iron Banner, and SLR, it's fairly easy to get 310+ without having to do the raid.

A lot easier to just do the damn hard raid. The req. is around 305-309 to complete it. Not everyone has to be a +315 to clear it.

I'm not saying it's easier or harder, I'm simply saying it's possible to get above 310 without doing the raid. As for level requirements, sure, you can do it with people who are lower light level, but some people just don't want the hassle of having to deal with a lower light player. They take more damage and put out less than someone who's above 315.

I can get 313 on my Warlock and i've never touched Hard mode :) My guess is that I can and will be able to get there without raiding :)
