Yeah forgot about that. But you can check out if he has raid gear. You can infuse your raid gear with racing gear but than you have to check his completions.
But i think that the most people wouldnt try to fake you in this way.

My husband has a higher level than me because of Srl. I've done the raid a few times more than he has, he's just dropped better than me and did Srl.

But that is a comparison between 2 people. The chance you have a more experienced raider when you invite a higher light level is Major.
