YOU ruined the game, NOT Bungie
It wasn't Bungie who ruined the game. The original meta was pretty cool, no bs, no drama. And then along came the shitty community. We want this. Remove that. Nerf this nerf that. You need to point the fingers at yourselves for allowing it.

Well they could learn the middle road and not go to extremes with either Nerfing far too much or buffing far too much. It's a little of both.

Bungie relies on data to balance the game, not the forums... This game improves with every patch, regardless of the finger pointing... The problem right now is lack of maintenance, and no info from Bungie...

Destiny attracted a lot of players due to being a hybrid game like Borderlands which merges aspects of FPS, MMO, RPG etc etc. However since day 1 until today the grind for loot and progression has been broken. The gun meta is not the driving force being Destiny it is the rewards system and this aspect worked best in House of Wolves and it still wasn't that great during that era.

They use the data gathered from people actually playing the game for nerfs and buffs, not what some whiny kid on a forum thinks, even though they've gotten it wrong every goddamn time sadly.....

Bullcrap. If bungie left all the Content in the game we would have so much less to complain about. If we still had a ldr or a her benevolence or praydeths revenge 1k yrd stare wouldn't be the only sniper in the game. If we could play all the strikes and get loot. If all the raids were worth playing you wouldn't run out of things to do so quickly

9 RepliesThe reason we want nerfs are because the weapons that weren't nerfed were too powerful. One single nerf, started all nerfs. With a balanced meta, no nerfs will be needed. In addition Did we ask bungie to put in micro transactions? No. But it messed part of the game up. Did we ask bungie to hold back content? No. Bit they did it anyway and we're getting tired. Did we ask for bungie to get better rng? YES. But they didn't listen an f**ked it up anyway. We are not messing up destiny, bungievision is messing it up. With a balance and sense of mind, THI game would be much better.

I argree for the most part. Some weapons here and there needed some touch ups but for the most part I dont mind what bungie has done so far.

Bungie are listening to what the community want as a whole, because then people will be pleased. Noone is to blame, I still play Destiny and will stick to it as it goes on idk what you mean by 'ruined'

1 ReplyThe players don't write the code for the game. Any changes are all bungie. By the way. If we were that influential, we would be playing a much different game. When they add a feature, its always a version of the idea. Hey, heres an idea. How about bungie give is something to do in the game that will actually progress the story and our characters. Any hope I had for this game dwindles every Tuesday when I raid. I wonder why its the only activity worth playing and why we as a community have to always be in the dark about the future of destiny.

1 ReplyI don't feel like its ruined or even bad. I still love this game that's continuing to grow and change. I like the evolving meta every month. I like the side activities and challenges. I like meeting new players in the wild and grinding for exotics to collect. The gunplay is tight and Bungie has a had a very open dialogue with its fanbase and have given into our every whim mostly for the better. They are on vacation right now after being our personal pixel-slaves for the last year and a half and I hope they return soon. Destiny might not be perfect, but its still one of the finest games I've ever played.
