It wasn't Bungie who ruined the game. The original meta was pretty cool, no bs, no drama. And then along came the shitty community. We want this. Remove that. Nerf this nerf that. You need to point the fingers at yourselves for allowing it.
-
Actually, it's your fault specifically.
-
i agree kinda idk there was the whole vex thing
-
Nah man, the game was shit and a disappointment from the ground up
-
Hunters ruined the game.
-
You're an idiot.
-
Truuuuuuu
-
Remember when the TTK was twice as long even with suros regimes outrageous range?
-
The original meta was horrible. Everyone would only use auto rifles, which could kill you from what now is scout rifle distance. You seriously needed a SUROS regime to compete. You probably never played back then if you think it was good. The game was ruined by Bungie when they started firing people before launch and we got a shell of a game.
-
I did nothing of the sort.
-
I do agree but when bungie does nerf things they seem to tweek everything
-
Actually Bungie did partly do it. Players would ask for certain exotic weapons to be nerfed, but Bungie would just destroy the whole weapon type, like they did with ARs and HCs.
-
i played all the uncharteds and their pvp and i never even heard of a nerf or buff in that series, i didnt even know that people would think about changing it, this is just one opinion and i couldve been wrong about the 0 nerfs but bungie should take notes from some of these well thought out games
-
Agreed

For almost all games, I agree with you. However, Bungie did have the most to do with screwing the players. In games such as call of duty, the game itself is good. The matchmaking works. The guns work. Sure a few patches now and then. What makes those games not fun are the campers and try hands and boosters, etc. With Destiny, the problem a majority of the time is Bungie itself. Always messing with guns. Giving crap matchmaking. And then locking you out of content if you don't upgrade. No other console game has screwed its fan base in such a corrupt manner. Yes, charging for DLC in things like black ops and having microtransactions is obnoxious, but such things were optional and didn't mean your imminent defeat in all pvp matches. However, that is the case with destiny. Halo was not like this. So a majority of the blame does go to destiny. In closing,
you are wrong.
There are hundreds if not thousands of people and players in this community that never wanted the nerfs and didn't ask. Bungie is like that one teacher in a classroom. The one who asks a question if the homework load is light or heavy, and you could be fine with it, but want some different things, new things that are better to learn in the homework. That one student starts talking about random things that don't affect you and certainly not the game. When the teacher starts listening more and more to the person, the more he accepts those ideas, thinking the whole class is the same. This results in miscommunication and small terrible things added or tweaked within the game. This is why destiny's "nerfs" and things DeeJ or anyone says players are "saying" are usually off-topic feeling and have drawn their large army of guardians to staying in orbit, some for good. There are a few left waiting to head back to the tower to arm up for the next adventures or content the game will offer but until then: Bungie needs to learn new methods of listening to the will of the people.
-
Um, no.
-
Bungie already said that they don't listen to us, they make changes based on their statistical data. If they listened to us then we wouldn't be playing red bars in PVP.
-
No activision did
-
If bungie doesn't bring some content then they can't ruin the game

I didnt ask for anything other than a thorn nerf BUT I will say this: nobody asked for the light level meta to change. All people asked was for the drop rates to be balanced. In vanilla people conplained because stuff never dropped (hell, I still dont have a fatebringer) and in HoW people complained that it took too little time to get to max lvl and the PoE gear was bad. There is a reason they changed the meta and it has nothing to do with the community. They system they came up with for the Y1 light was flawed, the algorithm means that it would eventually become impossible to reconciliate your lvl, attack and defence with the damage input and output for the AI enemies, so they changed it all to the current light. If you noticed it, 10 light levels now are equal to 1 lvl in Y1 when it comes to lvl advantage/disadvantage. And they reset the current max at light 320 (32 equivalent) but with the respective attack and defence values of 320 max, giving them much more longevity before the system breaks down again

I didn't ruin anything, I don't ask for nerfs or buffs I just play the game when I'm bored.
