It wasn't Bungie who ruined the game. The original meta was pretty cool, no bs, no drama. And then along came the shitty community. We want this. Remove that. Nerf this nerf that. You need to point the fingers at yourselves for allowing it.

Edited by Geovenchy: 1/20/2016 8:27:01 AMHow are you going to blame consumers for ruining a product? Tons of developers actively listen to their communities and they're successful at it. Bungie just takes their communities voices with a grain of salt and act on their own with extremities. We call for slight nerfs and buffs and they completely destroy or make a feature OP. I'm tired of fan boys defending Bungie time after time. I was a huge Bungie fan back during Halo but I can see through their BS and you all should too. All this cut-content, broken features, lack of content, it's all just headaches! It's sad because underneath all its faults lies a beautiful game with so much potential! If this game still holds any weight why is every thread asking for more? Why is every thread consisting of theories on new content? That's not your job! It's great to imagine but when a game leaves you wanting more there's something going wrong. You should be SATISFIED.

Edited by Magnetronx: 1/21/2016 10:28:08 PMWhilst I agree about the community nerf whining, Bungie are the ones that made the changes and 90% of the good ideas or fixes that the community has voiced their opinion on Bungie has ignored. So the blame is firmly at Bungie's door. Just because people tell you to jump off the cliff doesn't mean you do it if you know it's not going to end well!

It really is everyone's fault.

Edited by TheRZAector: 1/21/2016 11:32:50 PMThe nerfs and buffs have nothing to do with the majority of people's disappointed towards Bungie. It's a lack of original content and just recycled kid events to keep people playing. Give us new and more exciting game modes or expansions and people will be playing.

The weekly update suggests otherwise.
-
What are you talking about. You made no valid points. Just your shitty opinion. PPL LIKE YOU RUINED THE COMMUNITY
-
The community is innocent Bungie is innocent Activision isn't
-
You think the original meta was balanced. Well kid, let me tell you about the days of the mythoclast dealing 58 headshot damage, and pocket infinity being able to shoot almost infinitely. Oh, and people wasting the first half of their mag with Suros to get up to 90 ish damage per headshot.
-
Wrong. Skill based matchmaking ruined the game.

No, they ruined it themselves, terrible job after terrible job balancing the game, doesn't matter if they listened to the whining (which they don't) or used their own data (which they do), I do agree that the beta and the original meta were when the game was best though.
-
Bungie have just killed Destiny yr 2, no PvE content, constant PvP updates. It's not even a good PvP game.
-
-blam!- Bungie. The weekly update shows that they don't know how to run a game.
-
Both Bungie and the Community are shit and complain to each other for more changes that they'll complain about. Its the circle of Destiny life. Get used to it

What's funny is lots of people think that balance is better when you nerf or buff the solid stats instead of trying to fix the problem of god tier rolls that throw off the balance of the game. I mean look at it from how every meta is. Look for the best damage, range, stability and you have the easiest gun to use. Like how players look for just straight stat boost on weapons that it throws the weapon balance of archetypes out the window. Like look at the lymida-D I think. It's the hakke pulse rifle that's has the highest impact and highest range. Only problem is stability is sadly low. What should I do? Oh I know use the roll the gunsmith sells that uses braced frame which lowers reload speed by a little and increase the stability higher then the old perfect balance while getting added bonus of counter balance. Why have weapons that are suppose to have a balance or down side to a gun and get perks that completely make it better then all the other archetypes that get little to no use.

Bungie develops and maintains their game, not the community. Simple as that.
-
They nerfed some of the best weapons because they were "overused". Fancy that, the best weapons getting used a lot..
-
The game is dead bc bungie listens to the noobs rather than the experienced players (I'm not talking about people who joined at TTK, your not experienced...). Bungie thinks we can just tough it out bc we always have. They want this to be good for the new players. Not the year 1ers'. Honestly it pisses me off to no end. But those 15 motes and 15 sc were for the new players, it was so they could buy somthing from Zür
-
It was bad then but it's worse now. So good job, Bungie, you managed to lower the bar to the point that people actually miss your less halfassed product.
-
They ruined it by not taking our advice to make it better
-
Silly post. Sounds like a pvp only player.
-
Yeah the community totally was to blame for the bad story, the endless grind, and over the top nerfs. Makes sense.
-
SUROS and Vex were really overpowered. You can't deny that.
-
No the storyline has always sucked
