I hope 2016 is filled with less retards and less offended people.
What makes you lose faith?
What makes you gain some faith back?
Something truly positive to me is that today my dad turned 96 and is very healthy. He cant hear very well anymore and drives me nuts sometimes but he is the sweetest father and im glad he is still with me.
Edit 1: *sigh* there is lots of stupidity but I learned a few things from some posts. In the end not everything is absolutely terrible.

Let's see. My general consensus on humanity is that the two ends of the intelligence spectrum is expanding from both sides. Stupid is becoming stupider and smart is becoming smarter. That's the trend I'm noticing so. Meh. When the smart figure out how to convince paradise is on the other side of life they can leave this fascinating place known as the universe to people better suited

Lose faith due to people who don't care for their fellow humans. Gain faith due to compassionate and generous people. Kurt Vonnegut's pretty inspirational too, sad that he's dead.
-
I can't judge humanity as a whole. I judge individually, and I try not to be too harsh with my judgment.

It was Thanksgiving some years ago now, 2007 I think. I just got off work and was waiting for the bus when a homeless man with a shopping cart is walking by. He asked a group of teenagers for some change, they said they didn't have any. I don't think he was going to ask me and I didn't have any change but I had a roll of twenties. I gave him one. He immediately starts crying and thanking me and says, "I need a füçking hug!" The teenagers are looking at me trying not to laugh. The guy then goes on about someone throwing away his blankets. He then asked me if I had a cell phone, I said yeah, abd let him borrow it. This is exactly what he said, "hello, yeah, yeah I got paper, okay, okay I'll meet you in fifteen minutes, okay, bye." Draw your own conclusions...

I had some faith in us. Then I saw people arguing about politics. I'm glad most of us on here can't vote yet
-
I have virtually none. We are so dictated by fear that it's a wonder we're still around.

If you dad is 96 does that mean you're like 60? I'd never think someone that old would be on destiny forums

Minecraft Sex Mod. The cringe was real also time for shameless promotion: search leafy is here and that is one of his latest vids.

"Gender and Sex are two different things" They're literally synonyms.

Nothing has made me lose faith in humanity. Every time I see someone do something that should make me lose faith in humanity I take a step back and realize that their existence accounts for such a small percentage of the total occupation on Earth and their actions represent themselves and not anyone else.

Some weeks ago, I met a man who died in a car crash and, well, he was dead for some days, he got resurrected and he has a speech impediment and also some spasms. He was visiting Mexico for the first time. So I took him to a nice restaurant, we eat, we talk, he shares his experiences with me and then we went to my place. At my home, I asked if he ever played a videogame before, he said no. So I grabbed my controller, gave to him, started up BO3 zombies and asked if he wanted to play. Of course, he said yes. Seeing him try to hold the controller and move the sticks with his spasms made me think. I saw his positivity and kindness and overall happiness. It gave me faith and I realized how lucky I am. His name is John, by the way
