I would really appreciate some advise guys. I want to go flawless again. The only time I have gone flawless was when I had two REALLY amazing players play with me. They both had over 2.0 KD and literally just needed a third BODY to enter. The whole time I was with them I didn't even SEE a person they were that good at killing.
I went flawless on my own merit (and actually carried one of the other players sometimes) in year one, but year one was very different and easier. My questions that I have for you guys is as following:
1) How does light level matter (guns, armor, overall level, etc)? (a detailed description please, I want to understand).
2) Why is it that when I am 318 I get killed with X amount of hits to the head (three or four) by a MIDA multitool, but when I shoot the same player with mine, it takes like 5 or 6 hits to the head (despite me being a higher level and having the same level gun)?
3) When do you snipe a revive? I swear I have sniped at all different times during the revive animation and it never works (yes, always a headshot) but people do it to me so easily every time.
4) This one I am almost certain is a "no" but I will ask anyway: Is there a way to bolster your chances of being matched up against players with similar KD's as yours? I find it a bit ridiculous that a team of people with a 0.7 KDs in trials can be matched up with a team of players with a 2.5 KDs simply because they both have X amount of wins. It's completely ridiculous....
Any support or words of wisdom would help. I just feel like I am missing something because I do the same thing as other players and when I do it I get very different results and it is very discouraging. Please only real tips. Nothing like "get better nubbbb" or anything like that. I am legitimately trying to learn all the details of trials so my friend and I can get past 7 wins without losing (that is our record) finally go to mercury together.
I have every weapon that is worth using and every class fully leveled up and unlocked. I can use any, but I prefer Nightstalker Hunter, Golden Gun Hunter, Striker Titan, any Warlock class (in that order). I do NOT use bladedancer, hammers, or defender in crucible...like, ever, as I am not very good with them.
Advice?
