An option to stop DoT
Thorn. Grenades. Melees. I agree that DoT has no place in PvP if there is no way to stop it. What if we can stop it? I do believe we should be able to do something about the DoT of some grenades. They either do a lot of damage or they last too long. A lot of people still complain about Thorn. I think Destiny should have a way to stop an attack's DoT. I remember playing a game where you can actually do this by shaking your controller. I think it's kind of dumb that you are burning and you can't really do anything about it.

2 RepliesYou can run away from it. Thorn can only be used in norm crucible, it tickles in trials if used. The only burn you will have to worry about would be hammer Titan melee, incendiary grenades, and sunsingers, here is the bottom line, when I start burning I fall back to my other two teammates, and I cover them from the back until I have recovered. I expect them to do the same, if we are week enough they are going to die, we make towards a location we can be easily picked up. No matter what happens, you are not an official speaker for competitive multiplayer. You saying that it does not belong in competitive gaming is irrelevant, I've seen it in halo 3 incendiary grenades, wow, stwor, Hearthstone, there are plenty of games that have dots, and if you try to say fps games, we could take out the ones that have flamethrowers in them. For the guy attacking supreme butthurt, you are wrong, he was summoned. There is no way you can make a post trying to act as though you speak for competitive multiplayer in general not having a certain mechanics this game has without having to get annoyed by said mechanic.
