Having watched the start of one of the "speed run" videos recently, you can cheese the ships with just one person, a sword and probably Twilight garrison. You don't need to open the door if you jump off and run up to the chest then drop down behind and pull the rest of the team through after the lift.... I thought the "challenge" was doing the raid rather than working out how to do it with the least effort.....
