My fellow warlocks,
I love my voidwalker subclass. I love it. I want to drop nova bombs all day long. Me and Obsidian Mind are like this. *crosses fingers
But more and more, I find myself going to stormcaller or sunsinger. I just feel like they're more useful these days. Stormcaller is such a great add control class, and in hard mode raids, sunsinger is essential for its self-res ability (that's really all I use it for, though it's great for survivability all around). Voidwalker still has its uses, I suppose, but I struggle to find instances where I tap into the power of singularities without feeling like I'm taking a handicap.
Anyone else feel this way?
I think I'd like to see the nova bomb gain more impact damage. That might help make the voidwalker the class you go to when you want to deal massive damage to singular targets. As it is, at level, it seems like it only kills trash on impact, and I feel like it should also take out majors and ultras.
I feel like it also has other shortcomings in multiplayer; although, blink is a huge benefit. Even so, the nova bomb is little more than a super-cancellation button, which is certainly valuable, just not as valuable as being able to slaughter whole fireteams or res yourself in elimination games.

Edited by Kirby235711: 1/17/2016 7:41:20 PMI'm not sure if this was changed in the past year and a half, but the official guidebook says that Nova Bomb has a 4:30 cooldown, Arc Blade also has a 4:30 cooldown, while Fist of Havoc only has a 4:00 cooldown. If someone could fact check this, it would be great. Even if it isn't true and all supers have the same base cooldown time, I think that it would be a good idea to reduce FoH and Nova Bomb's cooldown times to maybe... 15% less than others?
