Stop telling me to take off the scarab
People expect me to be mlg pro all the time just because I have the scarab on. If I have a bad game or two don't message me and tell me to take it off because it's a freaking emblem that I earned and wear because it looks cool.
Edit:Comments mostly positive and happy to know you guys don't hatemail.
Edit 2:If you go to my profile you will see all the emblems I like on each character. I only put on the scarab sometimes.

We generally try harder when we see that emblem. I think it's a curse. Like the flawless emblem. I never run with it because it encourages teams to try harder. I don't have the scarab yet. But I would only wear it during raids etc. Trials it would be coming off.

NDS Talon played on a guy's account a day or two ago and got him the emblem. Yesterday in Rumble there was a guy wearing it and he went 3-12.

I myself have been carried to the lighthouse by clanmates, I suck at PVP. I have the emblem you get for flawless, but I don't wear it because I really didn't earn it. But hey you earned the Scarab emblem, wear it proud, I hear it's hard to get.

When people pay streamers to carry or even straight-up play their characters through a raid or to the lighthouse, you end up with people who cannot themselves play wearing a "badge" that says otherwise, so I can understand someone who earned it taking offense to a bad player wearing it since they diminish what it is intended to represent. I am not saying you were playing bad or deserved to be messaged (sounds like he was being a dick), just that I can understand why some people are bothered by the circumstances I described.

Some people are insecure and need to make themselves feel better by trashtalking other people. There isn't much you can do about that so you can learn from it and apply it to real life as well. Someone will always try to take you down a knotch because of success. Any destiny streamer that excels in pvp and loses a match will have at least one person come in and say "hahahaha we beat you." It is jealousy dude, nothing you can do about it.
