I'm fluent in ASL :) it was definitely worth it. It never fails to see everyones face when you start having a conversation with someone that can't verbally speak. They're always extremely happy.

Just don't mix up the signs for "hungry" and "horny" when signing with your instructor. It makes things really awkward.
