Newbie here, neither I nor my referrer got RAF credit
I downloaded the trial at the behest of my friend through his RAF link and later bought the game after playing till lvl 7 and enjoying it.
Problem is, neither one of us seem to have been "credited" with the RAF stuff -- after dumping $60 on this game to play it with him, this is a bit of a disappointment. Worse yet, I can't be directly helped by an employee (at least not easily), instead I have to make a public forum post in an effort to garner the attention necessary to actually be helped. I have no idea if it's even a guarantee that I'll be helped, or how common my problem is. Kinda embarrassed. Hope to get this sorted out in a timely manner; from what I understand, I really would love those RAF benefits and so would my referee who managed to sell me a $60 game.
Since it's an open forum, I don't know if I'm allowed to post usernames, but I figure a GM will probably be the one to remove it and will see it in the process even if it's against the rules -- so my referee is "Sickidan", and I (the referred) am "Enials" on PSN. Does Bungie.net say you already are properly linked? You can find your status in the Refer-a-Friend tab. If you are properly linked, you both will have to pick up a special quest from the Speaker. If you are not properly linked you will have to link each other first. Note a few things: -you both need The Taken King purchased under your own profile to be eligible for referral (looks like you fulfill this criteria) -you both need to complete the introduction Story Mission "A Guardian Rises" (also seems that you've completed this) -it can take up to one hour that your linking is confirmed on Bungie.net --if you have linked each other but it is not completing, please check if it shoes you any error ---you also can simply stop the linking, your friend creates a new link and you start the linking process again Since all this may sound complicated, here is Bungie's official Refer-A-Friend FAQ: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13962 It may help you out with things I've not listed.
