Stop asking for Class Nerfs (weapon or powers)!! Issues are ALL Hit Detection/Net Code related
People...
You need to stop asking for shotgun, sniper, 'insert other guns here', nerfs.
Also, stop asking for warlock or other class nerfs.
Pretty much everything you see is all based on screwed up hit detection (AND) distance. Its a NET CODE related thing.
If a Warlock Storms you across the map its not because his arc is that long....nor is his shotgun range. The Net Code is translating distances incorrectly. Same applies to hit detection and aim assist on snipers. Sometimes they just have to shoot 'at' you to hit your head. Other times they can't hit you if you are in front of them with the gun barrel to your head. Again...something with ranges is not translating correctly and seems to be messing with the code. Currently it looks like the game code is not translating correctly into whatever net code is used to display on our systems.
Things have just gotten worse. Somewhere around the time they did the shotgun range change.
Wouldn't surprise me if some of that range stuff is spaghetti code that the Net Code relies on as a static measure. Suddenly a couple of tweaks to range code and the whole game falls apart.
Edit: Clarification of code.
