Even though the level advantages are disabled, it really doesn't make a difference as people who participate in trials are usually around 308-320 light. To be honest, I don't see anyone having trouble unless they are at the most 20 light levels lower. Edit: The crucible is competitive anyways, get used to it or stop complaining.
