"And you'll continue that in androidland or helll
-
"You could re-make me."
-
"I likely will"
-
"I would never be the same."
-
"I'd make it work. I'd have to"
-
"Not saying you couldn't, it's just-" And then he died. That was it. All those years, erased.
-
He stands there, completely empty, before falling to his knees, leaning back and staring at the sky; he's away from this hell, and into the next great battle; the afterlife
-
Varn's shell pops out a small piece of paper. It reads: Oh, and because I killed him, take care of Anthony's daughter for me, will you?
I actually have a point I want to end this interaction on, so don't end it until I do, okay?
-
okay
he reads it, takes the body, and rushes around looking for her
-
He finds her speaking with a few people near the edge of town.
-
what was the name again? Andrea?
-
Yep.
-
He calls over "Andrea!"
-
She spins around, and tears stream down her face as she sees her father's corpse. She runs over. "W-What happened?!"
-
"Varn... He went rampant, killed Anthony..."
-
She begins sobbing uncontrollably, no longer able to hold it back.
-
He sets him down on the ground, walking beside her, holding his arms open for a hug
-
She hugs him, crying too hard to speak.
-
He hugs her as well, tears from under his helmet streaming down his face
-
"W-Why?"
-
"Rampancy is a real bitch"
-
"But why my dad? Why did he have to die?"
-
"I don't know. What I do know, is that he's out of this living hell, and back in a better place"
-
"Yeah... I guess he is."
-
"Well, should I leave you to mourn, or...?"
