AFKing in STRIKES
Unlocked my quest for the New Monarchy Exotic class item on my Warlock yesterday. Ran my 10 strikes in Heroic and I noticed something. Almost every strike had someone AFK and grab rewards at the end. Some guys were trying to be clever and would scoot forward, shoot, then hide once we engaged the enemy. Heroic strikes aren't ball-busting, but running them with only 2 as opposed to a full team can be painful.
The worst strike I had by far had a guardian named (had to remove name but will post vid tomorrow). If you see him in strikes, just leave. If you see him in crucible, own him. This piece of siht did nothing but tuck himself into corners and shoot only when we were looking. He was completely absent and hiding in a nook in the wall at the boss. Then when the boss died, guess what dropped?

I had as many assists as he had kills.(29, I had 139 kills at the end) And he gets the one gun I still haven't managed to get. Bungie, you need to do something to stop people from cruising through strike playlists and reaping the rewards because this is stupid. And it's like this a for almost every strike I join.

I just have to apologise in advance if anyone's ever bumped into me during a strike and I suddenly just stop moving or spinning in circles. Apparently I fall asleep while playing. I do this late at night and my fiancé has caught me a few times and says it's funny. Me? I work a 9-5 all day and come home with three kids and a woman who all demand my time. All I want to do is play my game. I finally get on and run a couple strikes. By strike three or four. I'm starting to lull and make mistakes. After that I'll pass out mid game. I hate it.

2 RepliesOther games have systems that kick players from activities for long periods of inactivity. Those who are kicked are soon replaced by others who have started looking for matches. Maybe something like that would help.

That's just odd, cuz you have to be paying attention to the game to "fake it". Never seen that during the whole raid, but I've seen people skip out of Boss battles

58 RepliesOh and another thing dont call people a piece of shit when u dont even know them sum people have other things to do that they mite ave 2 put down the controller for real life things in my case tending to my wifes needs which is far more important than u and ur need for an rng inanimate object u child grow up ive takin people thru the kings fall raid and they get far less kills than me and get betr gear but i dont call them a piece of shit i realise its just a game which luck plays a major part in get over it and maybe we shud all report u for using derogatory comments !!!!!

Easiest thing to do is report the guy for afk. Every time this happens to me I report for afk and wait a few min before I go to the next part and bungie usually kicks them from the strike for me lol

Upload vid. Also I recommend stand back with him and keep shooting him until he either leaves or begins to fight. Pay attention to your radar to see if he goes back.
