It's guaranteed. If people all complain about something, Bungie will fix it. (Or break it even more) It's happened in the past, and it would happen again if we would band together as a community.

The thing is they can't actually fix the lag issue without implementing dedicated servers. They could adjust matches to favor better ping but the lag will always be there as long as the pvp in this game remains p2p connection based
