"Crota's father. I did mention this earlier, right? He came to our solar system hell bent on seeking revenge. Brought a new energy nicknamed the 'Taken' where he would take living things and control them by implanting his mind on them. Some Guardians have been taken, but only a few. He wants to kill us not control us."

"It's like, say, moss, except it's an eye to see through, so I wouldn't be surprised if some taken were up ahead or already here." She looks at the ghost then moves forward. "Looks like you'll get to see what happened over these years." She says with a smile as she pulls her both her weapons to dual wield.

Alice stayed silent, but moved closer to the wall, her dark coloured armor easily blending into the side walls due to the darkness.

She reached the end of her hallway side and peered around the edge slowly.

Dozen of Taken Acolytes roamed the large square room. In the middle of it was a Guardian with a Hive Contraption attached to her chest.

"Yeah, it's not Vex." She whispers as she sheaths her weapons in her holsters.

[b]That's her... What are those things?[/b]

"Taken acolytes. They have this ability to summon a sentry eye, that's why I not rushing in there."

[b]I thought they looked familiar.[/b] The contraption on the Hunter looked like a chestplate..

[b]I'll try. Remember, I haven't any hands...[/b] Artemis screamed, as the chestplate glowed with white light that shortly turned into a black glow. A Taken Goo dropped from it, spawning a Taken Minotaur.

"Oh well, here goes nothing." Alice steps out from cover and walks towards the centre of the room with no weapons drawn. At first, she isn't noticed, but then things start getting antsy as the first notices her approach.

Oryx's Shade appears and points a sword at Alice. The Taken charge in, and start shooting. Meanwhile, the Ghost floated over to Artemis and started scanning the Chestplate.

Alice stops as The Shade appears and points a sword at her. She puts hand behind her back and bows to it. "A pleasure to meet you." She says not taking her eyes away from it. "The names Alice." The acolytes and Minotaurs charge at her and she comes back up standing still as they shoot at her. "Alice Long." She holds out her right hand to her side, and a sword forms from her palm outward, using her energy to support itself. She raises it back up and starts deflecting shots with it.

Alice continues deflecting the shots as she walks closer to the still charging Taken. When she gets close enough to an acolyte, she ducks down, then comes up with a vicious uppercut. Not with a one handed sword, but now with a two handed battle axe, splitting the acolyte up the middle. She then starts to sprint throughout all the taken, carving and chopping them with the axe head.

When she finally reached the shade, most of the taken were dead, except for one acolyte which tried to sneak up on her. She spun and chopped it's head off, before it disappeared back to its void. She turned back to the shade, any weapon she had absorbed back into her. "Sorry Ghost, what were you saying?"
