It was darker than usual in there, with no lights whatsoever.

Oryx's Shade appears and points a sword at Alice. The Taken charge in, and start shooting. Meanwhile, the Ghost floated over to Artemis and started scanning the Chestplate.
-
Alice stops as The Shade appears and points a sword at her. She puts hand behind her back and bows to it. "A pleasure to meet you." She says not taking her eyes away from it. "The names Alice." The acolytes and Minotaurs charge at her and she comes back up standing still as they shoot at her. "Alice Long." She holds out her right hand to her side, and a sword forms from her palm outward, using her energy to support itself. She raises it back up and starts deflecting shots with it.

Fascinating... this Hive chestplate takes light from the user and produces pure darkness..
-
Alice continues deflecting the shots as she walks closer to the still charging Taken. When she gets close enough to an acolyte, she ducks down, then comes up with a vicious uppercut. Not with a one handed sword, but now with a two handed battle axe, splitting the acolyte up the middle. She then starts to sprint throughout all the taken, carving and chopping them with the axe head.

There appears to be a locking mechanism on the side... This might take a while...

Edited by MegaBeast42: 1/9/2016 4:48:59 AMTaken were being shredded and none of their shots seemed to be able to hit her. When she finally reached the shade, most of the taken were dead, except for one acolyte which tried to sneak up on her. She spun and chopped it's head off, before it disappeared back to its void. She turned back to the shade, any weapon she had absorbed back into her. "Sorry Ghost, what were you saying?"

Edited by Riven: 1/9/2016 4:50:53 AMNothing really. It only had one lock. Also, Oryx is behind you, about to slice you in half. Just thought you'd wanna know. The Ghost freed Artemis, and she fell to the floor. "Something I don't plan to do again..."
-
Alice rolled forward, avoiding any attack. She stood back up to her full height, a great sword pointed at the roof, her grip on its hilt comfortable.
-
Oryx was about to swipe at her with his sword, but instead, a sword was stuck through his head.
-
She watched as the shade falls to the ground then disappers, letting the sword clatter to the ground. "Thanks, I suppose." Alice says to the wielder.
-
Artemis stood up off of the ground and retrieved her sword. "You know, you could've saved some for me."
-
"You got the biggest one, what are you talking about?" Alice smiled as her sword dissipated.
-
"Thanks for rescuing me. Took you guys long enough to send someone."
-
"Us guys? Who? Me or your ghost?"
-
"The Vanguard. I sent that distress signal out a year ago. Where were you guys?"
-
"Well, a year ago I was still a rookie at all this. Now? Well, Vanguard sent out a message about it and I was the first one here. I'm sure some of the Vanguard Guardians are starting to walk in here all strategic and what not."
-
"While you rush in, guns blazing." She sounded a bit stern when she said this.
-
"I did not rush in," Alice said putting some mocking into her own stern voice. "I actually walked in."
-
Artemis interrupted her when she said 'not'. "Which is exactly what I would've done."
-
Alice blinked twice, then shook her head laughing. "Your cool." Then she held out her hand. "I'm strange though. The name's Alice Long."
-
"Artemis Vale. And aren't we all." She shook her hand.
-
"Do you remember the past two years?" She said, looking at the wreckage around them.

-
"Ouch, how many did ya birth?" Alice now observes the chest piece that was summoning the Taken.
-
"Honestly, it's hard to keep count when you're in constant pain and trying to sleep to pass the time."
