House of Wolves was Destiny's golden age. Why? Etheric light. There was a reason to do any and all of the content and there was so much variety. You can say the infusion system is the same, but you know it isn't. You cannot infuse year 1 items, and infusing an item does not bring it to the light the dismantled item was. It is such a waste of content. Vanilla, VoG, The Dark Below, Crota's End, House of Wolves, Skolas's Revenge, previous Trials of Osiris... all this gear made obsolete. Not to mention it is also some of the best looking and functional gear. If elements on primaries are your concern, simply make it so using etheric light on an elemental primary will take it away. Or better yet, implement that "elemental cores" idea that has been floating around. Just do something so that there is more variation... Please bump if you agree to get bungies attention.
