I'm about to get back into witcher 3 after a long break from it. I'm not sure about the amount of hours I have in, I'm through novigrad and half way through skillege isles. So I think I'm decently far into it. But the problem is that it's been so long I forget most of the choices I made and some of the story I've been through.
So do you guys think it's better to restart so I can remember everything, or just pick up where I left off and figure it out?
It's a toss up for me. Just wondering what others think.
Thanks in advance.

Finish the game with some good gear, then do new game plus.

Older RPGs I would say make a new, play, and you might remember some choices, but that game is massive. I'd play.

I did the same thing and I wouldn't worry about it. If you're really worried about what choices you made go back through your quest log and it tells you how you did the quest. You just have to read how quest played out and you can probably infer what sort of choices you made.

I just restarted because I made a baaad choice. I was level 9, so I didn't spend a whole lot of time.

Edited by Solid Snake3324: 1/9/2016 4:39:33 AMI'm myself Waiting for a second expansion but If you don't plan to own season pass then go ahead. If you buy it the first expansion you need to be above 35 level or something I don't remember properly.

had a version been released yet that includes all DLC? That's what I'm waiting for

Just read through your completed quests logs. They are like a book.

Do new game plus, it makes the game harder, you keep your old profile's level, keep all your items and you restart the story. It's free too.

Same boat. I'm starting over after all of the dlc had released
-
Just jump in where you left off. I took a break over the summer and jumped right back in September and finished the game by November

Get the platinum, or all the achievements, depending on what console you are on.

Personally, I'd just find a synopsis to refresh myself on the story and keep going; previous decions be damned. Of course, after you figure out where you are in the game. Also re specs are a thing, right. So you can reset your points and skill differently if you want.
