Hey Bungie,
What is the average load on your Web servers? Are the load-balancers coping with traffic ok? Do you have adequate tools to monitor the performance?
I'm asking because there is a constant lag in multiplayer (a horrible one) and no, I don't think there are network problems on my end. And yes I went through the related Help and FAQ articles which all point to that.
I think it is fair to assume that you have picked up new audience since launching The Taken King and after Christmas Sale too. I hope you did not forget to beef up or scale up your hardware/virtual web instances in response to an increased number of users.
I also wonder how many other users have noticed the decreased web performance compared to year 1, I distinctively remember not facing the same problems, at least not to the current extent.
Sincerely,
-
They're probably not gonna fix the servers with Destiny 2 and around the corner bro

Yea dude there aren't any actual dedicated servers that's why lag is so bad and cheating is so rampant. And if there was something Bungie could do about it they would. But so far all attempts have been in vain.
for trials they actually put priority over how many rounds you've won instead of the best possible connection
Hi Griver I would just like to mention that Destiny uses a p2p based system so it does not actually have dedicated servers for Multiplayer play. If you are experiencing lag it is from either a poor host, others in the game lagging and bringing down the quality of every ones connection, or local network issues. That being said as Ghoul mentioned this would be be suited for #feedback as there it would be able to reach the right people easier.

Hello, This post would be better suited for #feedback. We here at #help appreciate your dedication to the game and giving it feedback, however, #help is for tech and game issues. Thank you for your concern and good luck in getting recognized!
