Crest doesn't provide any sort of class bonus. In certain situations dieing repeatedly does add more time to the revive timer.
Immolation Fists were bugged. Explosive Pyre would not trigger. Not sure if they are still bugged. Tracking on hammers is and has always been useless.
I already think that using Landfall should take some of the super. Getting an extra Golden Gun shot is making the easiest to use most lethal super even more so. Why would you expect to get that for free?
Aside from Impossible Machines none of the exotics you mentioned gave an extra charge or use to a super.

Regardless of explosive pyre being bugged, it still buffs the super without giving it a nerf. The Crest of Alpha Lupi [b][i]does not[/i][/b] increase the amount of time it takes before you can revive another player after multiple deaths. The only increase to the spawn timer comes from game modes that have it. i.e. trails, elimination, nightfall. And I'm not talking about a specific super charge buff with the Crest, I'm just saying there's a pro with no con. And every other example I used, whether or not it buffs the[b][i]super[/i][/b] or not, still gives the respective subclass using it a buff without taking anything away.

They don't add extra an charge though. Using Crest is a bad example. That doesn't buff anything besides time it takes to revive someone. The only situations where it useful are ones where the more you die the longer the respawn timer. Immolation Fists don't work. They don't add anything other than looks. I already said that Landfall should take some of the super. Why would I think that getting another Golden Gun shot be any different? How Symbiote is now is how it should've been from the begining. There isn't an exotic for any other subclass that does what Aclyophage Symbiote does for Gunslinger. The other exotics unlock perks. They don't give another hammer or increase the duration of the super. Symbiote isn't the same as the other exotics.

You dont understand how powerful having a fourth shot is. You're complaining about the decreased timer while using the helm. You feel that other subclass specific exotics don't "nerf" the super or some other aspect of the subclass so Symbiote shouldn't decrease the timer. What I'm saying is there isn't a similar enough exotic that it can be compared to to make what you're saying fair. Having a fourth Golden Gun shot with almost no downsides is incredibly powerful. "We had to give up our exotic slot!" There was no Gunslinger exotic that compared to the Symbiote. You weren't giving up much.

Do you know how rare it is to use that fourth shot? Do you know how rare it is to get to use the third shot even? With the pace of PvP in Destiny the likelihood of actually using that fourth shot or even getting [i]four kills[/i] is rare. The 9ish seconds GG is active is almost always to short already, because of the pace of engagements and skill of the players. I understand why the timer was cut. And I would be fine with it the super charge lasted like, 12 seconds. But it's already less than 10. If you're in a game with skilled players, by the time you've activated GG, the engagement area has already shifted. Now you need to run to find it. When you do, there's only two enemies. By the time you find a third the time has run out, [b][i]if[/i][/b] you didn't miss once trying to kill the two people you found. GG's timer is already too short. Cutting it further seriously handicapped it.

If it's rare too use the third shot, why are you upset about not having enough time to use the fourth. It isn't that rare to be able to use all three. I didn't have a problem with it while using my Hunter for Iron Banner. I regularly see Hunters in the games I play easily use all three shots and get three kills. Regular Golden Gun timer is 11.78 seconds.
